The apprentices decide the project idea of their choice and work through the start-to-finish of the UX research and UX design process. This equips them with a ready-to-work project that attracts hiring managers in the industry.

The UX Design & UX Research Apprenticeship Program is free and each apprentice receives a one on one mentorship through out the seven (7) month program duration. Attestations from the Alumni of UX WOMAN apprentices show that you can start earning in 6-figures between $85,000 to $130,000 after program completion in any of the courses – UX research, UX design, or other design service roles.

UX Design & UX Research Apprenticeship Program Requirements
- This position of a UX Design & UX Research Apprenticeship Program is an entry level open to new graduates and those transitioning into UX
- You must be desirous of growth in creative career paths in UX research, UX design, UX product design or Service design
- You must be willing to put in 5-10 hours of work every week to complete the program deliverables
- You must be willing to commit 2-3 hours to attending lectures on weekends or to complete online video course modules

- Build digital products and services from start to finish
- Initiate, coordinate, and deliver an end-to-end design process for a startup idea or topic of your choice
- Coordinate product scoping and feature scoping, including the entire project management

- Tell a compelling story about users by showcasing user types, personas, stakeholder maps, journey maps, process maps, service blueprints, ideation matrices, sketches, wireframes, UX workflows, prototypes and other visual deliverables
- Coordinate user testing of wireframes and prototypes to enhance product/service usability and continuously iterate on your startup idea
- Create a unique design system for your solution from scratch, creating components, a style guide, and branding for your solution
- Analyze direct and indirect competitors to clearly understand and identify your solution’s differentiators and how/why your solution is innovative and succeeds over competing options
- Consult with startups to create a scope of work and fulfill UX research, UX design, product design, and service design work based on your scope of work
